I have read the book and as a black women in her 40's, I can imagine everyone of these actresses as the assigned characters and I hope the movie is just as great as the book! My mother and her family grew up in this same era and yes black women were all shapes and sizes...get off of that hollywood look....black women are beautiful inside and out no matter what size or shade....everyone should except yourselves as how God inteneded for us to be BEAUTIFUL and in HIS image!
