I have seen The Namesake for the first time recently and had not heard of the book. I thought the movie was amazing and the Cast phenominal! It was truly moving. I think that Kal Penn is a wonderful actor but was so impressed by the women in the film. They all had such a strong presence. Its nice to see the diversity between functioning in society as an American and still capturing your heritage that occurs at home.
