A beautiful movie about love and family. I took off work early to catch it at the independent film theatre in my city. I was in the rear of the theatre, crying, laughing and I fell simply fell in love with this story. I have seen most of this director's movies and she is still my favorite. I can't wait to read the book.

Keep up the great work. You make great movies and people come alive in your films. I feel more in touch with my own feelings as a result of viewing your movies. Keep challenging us to explore each other and are different cultures. We need to celebrate our differences and complexities more often. I am thankful that you have studied and perfected your craft. We ae all better off knowing you and many others have given birth the stories that need to be shared with the world.
