Hi, Everyone,

The Banger Sisters gave us our first fabulous opportunity to work together -- and with Geoffrey Rush -- and to coin a phrase from the character of Suzette, “It was a blast!”

The other aspect of this story that resonates for us is the relationship between mothers and daughters. Great minds have delved into the complexities of this relationship and the one constant that always comes up is the strength of the mother/daughter bond is unlike any other. We both know that with all our hearts from our own experiences.

And coincidentally, for worse or for better, both our daughters have chosen to follow the actor’s path. (Eva Amurri, who plays Lavinia’s daughter -- and is Susan’s real-life daughter -- got a chance to show her thespian chops playing a young woman very different from the sophisticated New Yorker she really is.)

The best thing about Suzette and Lavinia is that they discovered they could still surprise themselves.
