The directorial debut of Drew Barrymore, stars Ellen Page (Juno) as Bliss, a rebellious Texas teen who throws in her small town beauty pageant crown for the rowdy world of roller derby. Movie not worth seeing.

Can't even watch movies anymore without using blaspheme. Will not spend my money on trash like this!!

Won't be throwing $ to the box office for this one because it uses in vain (blasphemes) the true, living, holy, God of all creation. The G family

What this writing blasphemies in this movie ? Shouldn't you have written a quiet script ? Why should these actors/actress say these words ? They are not good for anyone !

Movie was sooo great drew and ellen and everyone else did a great job. But I was very dissapointed in the lack of advertising fox did for this!! I saw only one commercial! And if I wasn't a retired derby girl I probably wouldn't have even known what it was!! Most of my non derby friends had either not even heard about it or didn't even know what it was!! And it not even playing at all the theaters!! The movie was amazing but you would have had a much better turn out if you'd put a little effort in the marketing!!

WHAT THE HECK!?! The Cajun Rollergirls are left here wondering why this movie isnt playing in our hometown?~!? Houma, La is a pretty nice sized city, and we as a roller derby league have been advertising this movie since the trailer came out....hell, we have been knowing about it since last year!!! waiting for the day that it came to our theater, and now we look like fools cause the whole town was sooooo excited to see this movie we have been ranting about...
we even had a opening night surprise for our community!
Please show "Whip it" in Houma! There are so many people that will be let down.

The sneak peak in Albany, NY this weekend was good, and I got to meet the Troy Hellions roller derby girls. I'm glad I saw this movie instead of the one my friends went to see, and I got a free t-shirt. Even though I am not that young anymore, it has inspired me to start roller skating again, and maybe get involved in the future. If nothing else, it inspires me to follow my dreams, to find myself.

Please screen Whip It in Providence, RI.

Thank you.

Not interested in seeing this movie after the horrible event yall hosted in dallas. Everyone with wristbands got turned away because the press took too long and drew was an hour late. they ened up only letting some radio contest winners inside. we waited 6 hours in the rain!! i was beyond excited to meet drew and get an autograph. it really pumped me up to see the movie seeing all the derby girls that came out, but i think i will just go to a derby instead of putting my money towards your company's movie.

My daughter is an Austin Derby Brat which is the Jr League for the Texas Rollergirls. We cry every time we watch the trailer because this is the story of so many of our girls. Come to austin because we want to kiss Drew Barrymore's feet!

So, uhm, FOX!, got a question for y'all.

Considering it's supposed to be out on October 9th, and that's only 3 months away now, shouldn't you have a poster, or a trailer, or a site, or something up by now? I'm wondering where the marketing push is for this.

I've got a league full of derby girls clamoring to see this, and many more I know want to see it as well. If you want this to be a success, why not put some of your backing behind some big names like Ellen Page, Juliette Lewis, and Drew Barrymore?

*sigh* Or maybe I just don't understand Hollywood?

Hi, I am an extra in Whip It! and would like to know if there are any plans for an advance screening here in Michigan, if only for the crew and extras who worked on it, or whomever. Thank you!

I live in Ann Arbor and was wondering how I might get involved in the filming of this movie, maybe as an extra or an extra hand on set.
