JOSHUA is the tale of Brad (Sam Rockwell) and Abby (Vera Farmiga) Cairn, perfect Manhattan parents in a perfect Manhattan apartment whose perfect life begins to crack after the birth of their second child Lily. Shortly after Lily arrives home, a dark side of prodigy son Joshua slowly begins to reveal itself.

I was waiting rather impatiently for the release of Joshua from the moment I saw the trailer. Unlike those who left the theater, I was not disappointed. But that does not mean it will not. Joshua is not a film for the common man and never tries to be.
It is a story about a boy who longs to be understood by parents who choose to watch from the sidelines. The previews made the boy was apparently a freak weird, but it was clear very quickly why this is the way he is. Joshua tells his father that he does not like football and baseball. In an attempt to appear open-minded and understanding, her father said he was fine and that he should only do what you want (without asking exactly what you want your child). Her mother not only care, if she does not mind.
Dark, disturbing, creepy, sadistic humor but sometimes, the events develop slowly (to the dismay of people expect shock after shock-free) Joshua proving to be a quiet boy and more the original estimate is perceived. Jacob Kogan's performance is reminiscent of Haley Joel Osment in the IA (if it is an intriguing character sadist). He is the only character that stands out and I think this was intentional, and the other characters can say, right along with the hearing, the child is not entirely correct.

This film is not without doubt, for the impatient and / or those that need it smells in the face several times to stay awake during movies. But if you want a movie that slowly and coolly toys with your mind until the end, Joshua probably provide what you want. http://top.imdb-film.com/
