I recently completed my second screenplay entitled, "TRUCE." I have
received a lot of positive feedback from some Hollywood insiders, who
have read the script. All are impressed with the story content and
elements that reflects on current affairs, facing Los Angeles today. I
would like to see if you would consider reading my latest work.

"TRUCE" is the story of a former L.A.P.D. Captain turned Gang
Activist, who deals with obstacles of getting the gangs to Truce,
before the Mayor can impose his gang injunction and Anti Gang Bill.
After the murder of 12 yrs. Old girl the community is in an uproar and
demand action from City Hall and L.A.P.D.. However certain top brass at
L.A.P.D. fear the Truce would interfere with their goal of receiving
funds and possible department cut backs, and will stop at nothing to
keep the Truce from being implemented. Cappy’s former partner Ace turns
out to be the villain, who sets Cappy up. After Cappy accidentally
records his former partners conversation with fellow officers plotting
to destroy the Truce and possibly Cappy, Ace needs to get the recorder
back. After several unsuccessful attempts to get the recorder back, Ace
and the Unit kidnaps Cappy’s son Dee. Now the table is set, the
recorder for Cappy’s son. Along the way The Mayor continues planning
for the arrival of the President, and the Gangs must unite amidst the
on going injunction and their leader Cappy fighting for his life, his
son, and the Gangs.

P.S. I’m currently working on a second draft that has another twist to
the story. I also have several other features and T.V. sit-coms that
I’m working on as well.

Anyway, I am 42 years old and my oldest sister, who is 11 years older,
gave me this book probably 10 years ago. It was one of the best books I
have ever read and I read a new book every week and have been doing so
for as long as I can remember! I have a 12 year old daughter who is
reading the book now and she loves it as well. This will definitely be
a movie that we can enjoy together, as there is not much quality out
there these days. I can almost assure you that this movie will be Oscar
worthy for the Queen!

This is a fantastic film. Laura Linney and Philip Seymour Hoffman both deserve to be nominated for Oscars for their portrayals. They complement each other so well, at the same time creating complex individual portraits. Laura Linney deserves to be nominated for her neurotic temp who is going through a mid-life crisis.

This is a fantastic film.

This is a fantastic film. Laura Linney and Philip Seymour Hoffman both deserve to be nominated for Oscars for their portrayals. They complement each other so well, at the same time creating complex individual portraits. Laura Linney deserves to be nominated for her neurotic temp who is going through a mid-life crisis. Her character undergoes a major transformation, and Ms. Linney makes it completely believable through every scene. There are wonderful subtle touches throughout the entire film. If you want to see great acting, then this is the film of the season for you.
