I think this movie is spot on while it preys on the feelings that many oldest siblings have when someone new is introduced into the family. I never wanted to hurt my little brother, but I certainly attempted to hurt myself in order to get attention from my parents. Fortunately I didn't break anything when I fell down the stairs in my house on purpose.
