SOIF: Loren at Sundance - JOSHUA
Back at festival HQ Loren has just found out about Searchlight's latest acquisition, "Joshua". Join Loren as he talks to some of the first people to see the psychological thriller "Joshua" at Sundance 2007.
I saw this film a Sundance. The acting was 1st rate but the story had huge holes. The 1st was when the grandmother leaves both children alone in the museum to go to the bathroom only to come out and find them missing. Grandma was afraid of the big city and would never have done that. The 2nd was when the dad viewed the video of his son hurting his daughter. At that time any other dad would put a stop to it by what ever means necessary.
Because of these and other mistakes I would rate this film with 2 stars.
